High5Sports Team: Chip Zeller

I’m one of the few folks who’ve been at FOX 5 longer than The Hand. I started out as an intern here way back in 1978 (before television was invented). There’s nothing like covering high school sports in Atlanta, and I’m proud to say that I’m doing it with the most talented and creative staff in the country.

As a graduate of The Paideia School (no football team) and Mercer University (no football team), I’m a confirmed expert on all things football.

During my stint at WAGA-TV, I’ve been fortunate enough to cover some huge sporting events like the winter and summer Olympics, several Super Bowls, and countless World Series games with my favorite baseball team.

During my off time, I like to take The Hand on field trips—he especially likes The Bodies exhibit at Atlantic Station.
