The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes are a perfect 9-0, and are the Region 8 AAAA champions for the second time in their school history! The Purple Hurricanes are looking to make their record 10-0 when they face Eastside on Friday.
Members of the Purple Hurricane's 1969 winning team were on hand as Paul Milliken and The High 5 Sports Team visited the Monroe school to present the coveted "Hand" on Thursday morning!
